Sales Engineer – Enterprise (US, Remote)

We’re seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to accelerate our Enterprise growth by partnering with Sales to close technically complex deals and guiding customers through seamless onboarding. You’ll serve as the trusted technical advisor to our enterprise prospects and customers, leveraging your expertise in APIs, integrations, and e-commerce ecosystems to help customers achieve their goals with Printful and Printify.
This role requires deep fluency in API-driven solutions as well as hands-on knowledge of enterprise e-commerce platforms, especially Shopify. You’ll help customers understand how to design, build, and scale solutions that integrate into our ecosystem.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Partner with the Sales team throughout the sales cycle, providing deep technical expertise on Printful and Printify APIs, advising customers on the best integration approaches to meet their business objectives.
- Design scalable solutions that connect our APIs with customer platforms, ERPs, CRMs, and custom workflows.
- Act as an e-commerce subject matter expert, helping customers understand how to architect enterprise-grade storefronts on Shopify and other platforms, and how to extend them with custom apps or app store integrations.
- Build and deliver tailored demos, proof-of-concepts, and integration prototypes that showcase the power of our platform.
- Lead onboarding projects for technically advanced customers, coordinating across customer IT/engineering teams and internal Product, Engineering, and Operations.
- Troubleshoot integration challenges, ensuring smooth and reliable implementations while escalating complex issues to Engineering and Product as needed.
- Document solution designs, integration playbooks, and storefront best practices to drive repeatable, scalable enterprise onboarding.
- Serve as the bridge between Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, ensuring smooth handoffs and long-term customer satisfaction.
- Quantify customer pain points and integration challenges to provide structured feedback that informs product and feature development decisions.
Your qualifications:
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Implementation Consultant, or equivalent) within SaaS, e-commerce, or API-driven platforms.
- Strong knowledge of APIs (REST, webhooks, authentication protocols like OAuth) and integration patterns.
- Deep fluency in e-commerce technology ecosystems, especially Shopify (themes, checkout flows, custom apps, app marketplace).
- Proven ability to advise customers on storefront architecture, scaling strategies, and app integrations to achieve enterprise-grade performance.
- Strong project management skills to oversee onboarding timelines, deliverables, and communication.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and instill technical confidence in both technical and business stakeholders.

The next step is a 30-60-minute call to meet the hiring manager. The goal of this call is to assess if you have the skills necessary for the role. Expect more detailed questions about your experience and some situational or behavioral questions.

Once all of your interviews are done, our team will get together to review everyone’s feedback and make a decision.
If we decide that you are the best candidate for the role, our recruiter will reach out to you with an offer.
