We’re not one brand or one type of team. We’re a fast-growing global company made up of many disciplines – all working toward a shared goal: to power great brands, experiences, and people.
About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on IT Automation Engineering Manager to build and scale our newly formed IT Automation Engineering team.
This cross-functional role will bridge the gap between software and automations engineering, IT administration and IT infrastructure engineering/DevOps.
You will be responsible for defining the technical architecture of our internally built software, integrations and automations, steering the development of internal software tools, and establishing software engineering standards within the IT operational ecosystem.
You’ll be part of a culture where everyone is respected, included, and encouraged to grow. We value continuous learning, uphold a high work ethic, and have fun along the way
Your daily tasks will include:
Lead, develop, and mentor a team of automation and software development engineers.
Foster an agile, collaborative culture centered on best software development practices.
Architect, develop, and maintain automations, internal business applications, and integrations connecting our IT platforms and business systems.
Bridge the gap between engineering rigor and decentralized development.
By using DevOps/SRE practices, build automated environments for both for internally-developed applications, as well as low-code platforms and vibe-coded applications used by other business units.
Stay hands-on with design, code, and reviews to provide leverage and unblock the team.
Ensure strong execution: clear priorities, predictable delivery, measurable outcomes.
Partner with business, security and engineering teams to align on requirements, standards and integrations
Your qualifications:
7+ years engineering experience, including 2+ years of experience leading development or technical teams.
Strong hands-on capability and willingness to contribute technically (up to 50% of time).
Extensive, production-level development experience using languages such as Python or JavaScript (Node.js) for deep system automations, custom middleware development, and dashboarding.
Profound understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), API architecture, version control (Git), and CI/CD orchestration.
Solid grounding in DevOps/SRE principles applied to software deployments, cloud integrations and low-code infrastructure.
Fundamental knowledge of IAM architecture (Least Privilege, RBAC, JIT access) and core enterprise federation/provisioning standards (SCIM, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
Proven knowledge on workflow engines (e.g., Zapier, Make, N8N).
General knowledge of modern IT infrastructure management ecosystems. This includes proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), Mobile Device Management (MDM) architectures (e.g., Jamf, Intune), and modern cloud Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems (e.g. Okta, Entra ID).
Exposure to or strong interest in leveraging generative AI toolsets, LLM APIs, and AI-assisted app development environments (vibe-coding).
Our tech stack:
Infra: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Atlantis
Engineering Tools: Postman, Git, GitHub Copilot, PhpStorm, Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus.
Remote work Tools: Jira, Miro, Google Workspace, Slack.
