Hub Leader – Marketplaces (TikTok, Etsy & Emerging Platforms) – Hybrid in Riga

Purpose & Impact
You will own and scale FYUL’s Marketplaces Hub (TikTok Shop, Etsy, and future platforms), carrying full commercial responsibility for GMV, acquisition, and expansion.
You are an execution-driven leader, not a coordinator. You define strategy and mobilize cross-functional teams across Sales, Success, Marketing, and Partnerships to deliver measurable growth.
As the Commercial Engine Lead, you are the single point of accountability for social commerce growth. You own the commercial mandate for how fast we scale across all marketplace channels.
This high-autonomy role powers a multi-disciplinary machine. You integrate functional teams to accelerate execution velocity and maximize merchant success within the hub.
Operating on a Mission Team model, you carry P&L accountability without owning the formal org chart. You set the mission and priorities for a dedicated cross-functional team, acting as a business owner backed by the Chief Growth Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Ownership
Own GMV targets for TikTok, Etsy, and emerging channels.
Execute platform-specific growth playbooks across the merchant lifecycle.
Build scalable acquisition and monetization frameworks.
Solve structural bottlenecks to ensure commercial resilience.
You carry the commercial mandate, taking full accountability for GMV targets. You define playbooks from acquisition to retention, acting as the “Commercial CEO” of the vertical to ensure every move translates into top-line impact.
Hub Leadership
Lead a mission team (Sales, Success, Marketing, Partnerships, Support).
Create a culture of urgency, experimentation, and accountability.
As Mission Team Leader, you direct the priorities of a cross-functional squad. You own their work, measurement, and performance against targets. You foster commercial intensity and rapid experimentation, ensuring the team is empowered to test tactics in real time.
Marketplace Channel Strategy
Develop deep expertise in TikTok Shop and Etsy mechanics.
Build repeatable onboarding and activation playbooks.
Position FYUL ahead of the curve on emerging platforms.
You are the authority on social commerce success. You build durable, scalable playbooks based on platform dynamics and act as a pathfinder to capture first-mover advantages on the next wave of marketplaces.
Cross-Functional Influence
Partner with Product, Selection, GrowthOps, CX, and Finance.
Push initiatives beyond the hub for structural improvements.
You build strategic partnerships with central functions to advocate for your vertical. You push for product enhancements and structural shifts, navigating the organization to remove friction and leverage central resources for hub growth.
Strategy → Execution
Set growth roadmaps and time-bound execution cadences.
Define KPIs and run constant experimentation loops.
Scale proven growth levers across the organization.
You bridge vision and reality by translating roadmaps into rigorous execution. You set KPIs and validate growth levers through data-driven loops, building an industrialized "playbook for growth" as FYUL expands.

Qualifications
8–12+ years in marketplaces, e-commerce, or social commerce roles
Proven P&L or channel ownership experience
Strong knowledge of TikTok Shop and/or Etsy platform mechanics
Experience scaling merchant acquisition and retention programs on marketplace platforms
Proven ability to lead and deliver results through dotted-line or matrix team structures
Strong analytical fluency (funnels, CAC/LTV, unit economics)
High ownership, bias for action, resilient under pressure

Practical Task

Hiring Manager Interview
The next step is a 30-60-minute call to meet the hiring manager. The goal of this call is to assess if you have the skills necessary for the role. Expect more detailed questions about your experience and some situational or behavioral questions.
