About the role:
At FYUL, we achieve excellence because of our people. That’s why we’re looking for a team-oriented Bilingual Talent Partner (HR Generalist) to join us at our North Carolina facility in Charlotte. In this role, you’ll be the business partner to our local operations. You’ll also make sure all aspects of HR are operating smoothly including recruiting, performance management, and employee relations. As a hands-on position, you’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy interacting with a diverse range of people every day.
Your daily tasks will include:
Acting as a liaison between our local management team and corporate shared services to ensure a successful partnership between Human Resources and our operations
Working with local leadership to implement HR programs that support strategies and plans to focus on people selection, engagement, and retention
Providing effective employee relations counseling and conflict management and resolution methods Proactively working with business leaders to resolve and support HR-related issues and concerns
Supporting and advising on legal matters relating to compliance, state and federal regulations, and potential impacts on employees and operations
Ensuring the successful rollout of various corporate programs, including performance management and staff onboarding
Coordinating tasks and working with the Recruiting Team to oversee an effective recruitment strategy for our local operations
Your qualifications:
5+ years experience working in HR in a Generalist role
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in HR is preferred
Bilingual (English and Spanish-speaking)
Solid background in and working knowledge of applicable legislation, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, and general employment issues
Proven experience in handling complex negotiations and sensitive information
Proven ability to show an understanding of financial and business metrics
Understanding of conflict resolution practices and methods
Proficient knowledge of Google Suite

Our Hiring Process
Intro Chat
If our Talent Acquisition Team believes that you could be a great fit for the role, we’ll invite you to a 30-45-minute introductory call. Our goal is to learn about your relevant experiences, skills, and motivations. This is also your chance to ask any questions you may have about FYUL.
Practical Task
Some roles require our candidates to complete a practical assignment. It helps us assess your problem-solving skills and your ability to complete the duties required for the role.
These can come in the form of a take-home assignment or a live session where a dedicated team member will guide you through the process and answer any of your questions.
Hiring Manager Interview
The next step is a 30-60-minute call to meet the hiring manager. The goal of this call is to assess if you have the skills necessary for the role. Expect more detailed questions about your experience and some situational or behavioral questions.
Decision and Offer
Once all of your interviews are done, our team will get together to review everyone’s feedback and make a decision.
If we decide that you are the best candidate for the role, our recruiter will reach out to you with an offer.
Once you have accepted the offer, our HR Operations Team will contact you to walk you through the contract signing process.
