Business Development Representative

About the role:
We are hiring a high-caliber Business Development Representative to help accelerate one of FYUL’s most strategic growth initiatives. This role sits at the front line of partner acquisition - responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-value partners that will shape the company’s long-term expansion.
You will operate in a fast-moving, high-expectation environment, working directly with senior partnerships leaders and engaging some of the most recognized brands across entertainment, gaming, sports, ecommerce, and platform ecosystems.
This is not a transactional outbound role. We are looking for someone commercially sharp, intellectually curious, and persistent - someone motivated by building meaningful business relationships and opening doors others cannot.
Your daily tasks will include:
Strategic Prospecting & Lead Generation
Identify and engage high-potential partners across priority verticals including entertainment, gaming, sports, ecommerce, and emerging digital platforms
Build and continuously refine a robust pipeline of qualified partnership opportunities
Develop thoughtful account strategies, mapping decision-makers and buying centers (e.g., Product Leaders, E-commerce Executives, Partnerships Heads)
Execute highly personalized outbound using modern sales tooling, data insights, and creative outreach approaches
Consistently deliver qualified meetings that convert into tangible partnership opportunities
Early-Stage Partnership Development
Serve as the first impression of FYUL - representing the company with credibility, precision, and commercial awareness
Qualify opportunities through structured discovery to ensure strong strategic fit
Orchestrate introductions with senior Partnerships and Growth leaders, ensuring conversations begin at a high level
Clearly articulate FYUL’s value proposition and tailor messaging to partner priorities
Maintain pipeline velocity through disciplined follow-up and stakeholder management
Operational Excellence & Internal Leverage
Prepare high-quality briefing materials, partner research, and strategic insights ahead of executive conversations
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Design to strengthen outreach narratives
Uphold rigorous CRM hygiene and pipeline reporting to enable accurate forecasting and decision-making
Continuously refine prospecting playbooks based on performance data and market feedback
Market Presence & Brand Amplification
Support targeted campaigns that elevate FYUL’s presence within priority partner ecosystems
Engage thoughtfully across professional channels to build credibility and warm future opportunities
Represent FYUL with professionalism across written communication, virtual meetings, and select industry events
Your qualifications:
2-4 years of high-performance experience in business development, sales, or pipeline generation within SaaS, technology, ecommerce, or platform environments
Consistent track record of creating qualified opportunities and operating against clear commercial targets
Excellent English communication skills with the confidence and professionalism to engage senior external stakeholders
Strong prospecting judgment - able to identify priority accounts, map decision-makers, and execute thoughtful outreach that drives response
Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain operational rigor in a fast-paced setting
Fluency with modern sales tooling (CRM, prospecting platforms, core business software) and a genuine interest in partnership-driven digital commerce
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience; advanced business education is a plus, not a requirement.

Monthly salary EUR 2,000–3,000 gross, depending on work experience, education, and skills

Intro Chat
If our Talent Acquisition Team believes that you could be a great fit for the role, we’ll invite you to a 30-45-minute introductory call. Our goal is to learn about your relevant experiences, skills, and motivations. This is also your chance to ask any questions you may have about FYUL.
Practical Task
Some roles require our candidates to complete a practical assignment. It helps us assess your problem-solving skills and your ability to complete the duties required for the role.
These can come in the form of a take-home assignment or a live session where a dedicated team member will guide you through the process and answer any of your questions.
Hiring Manager Interview
The next step is a 30-60-minute call to meet the hiring manager. The goal of this call is to assess if you have the skills necessary for the role. Expect more detailed questions about your experience and some situational or behavioral questions.
Decision and Offer
Once all of your interviews are done, our team will get together to review everyone’s feedback and make a decision.
If we decide that you are the best candidate for the role, our recruiter will reach out to you with an offer.
Once you have accepted the offer, our HR Operations Team will contact you to walk you through the contract signing process.
