About the role:

That’s why we’re looking for a detail-oriented Global Purchasing Manager to join us. In this position, you’ll oversee purchasing operations across multiple countries while driving supplier performance, team alignment, and operational excellence across our ecommerce platforms, including Shopify, Etsy, and TikTok Shop.
Your daily tasks will include:
Manage and develop a geographically dispersed purchasing team across the USA, Mexico, Canada, and Europe
Build workforce alignment around shared goals, priorities, and performance standards
Establish clear accountability frameworks and professional development paths for team members
Implement best-in-class purchasing practices for apparel, supplies, and materials supporting print-on-demand operations
Optimize procurement processes to support rapid fulfillment cycles and ecommerce demand fluctuations
Maintain zero tolerance for out-of-stock inventory through proactive planning, forecasting, and execution
Balance inventory efficiency with uncompromising service level requirements across multiple fulfillment locations
Build and maintain redundant supplier relationships to eliminate single points of failure
Create and implement supplier scorecards and performance measurement systems focused on execution excellence
Design and enforce supplier processes that ensure consistent quality, on-time delivery, and responsiveness
Lead continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to elevate operational performance
Identify and onboard new suppliers to strengthen redundancy and support business growth
Design and optimize interdepartmental processes to improve speed, accuracy, and communication
In this role, we'll expect you to:
We are looking for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution excellence. You should be comfortable building relationships across time zones, driving accountability without micromanaging, and creating structure in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is obsessed with operational reliability, proactively builds redundancy into every aspect of supplier management, and views out-of-stock situations as unacceptable failures to be prevented through superior planning and execution.
Your qualifications:
7+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, with at least 5 years in management roles
Proven background in either apparel purchasing or ecommerce purchasing (print-on-demand experience is a strong plus)
Demonstrated success managing remote or distributed teams across multiple countries
Track record of maintaining inventory availability in high-velocity environments with zero tolerance for stockouts
Proven ability to build and manage redundant supplier networks to ensure operational continuity
Experience developing KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting dashboards for both teams and suppliers
Strong understanding of apparel supply chains, including fabrics, trims, decoration methods, and quality standards (or willingness to quickly learn)
Excellence in high-level operations execution with the ability to translate strategy into flawless tactical implementation
Proven ability to design and improve interdepartmental workflows and processes
A bonus but not required:
Knowledge of print-on-demand or custom manufacturing business models
Familiarity with Shopify, Etsy, TikTok Shop, or similar platforms
Understanding of international trade, customs, and logistics
Certification in procurement or supply chain management (CPSM, CPIM, CSCP)
