Head of Compensation & Benefits
We’re not one brand or one type of team. We’re a fast-growing global company made up of many disciplines – all working toward a shared goal: to power great brands, experiences, and people.
About the role:
As the Head of Compensation & Benefits, you will serve as the global architect of our total rewards ecosystem. Moving beyond functional execution, you will own the strategic development of our global compensation and benefits roadmap. You will lead a dedicated group of people to deliver high-impact rewards programs that drive performance, ensure internal equity, and align with long-term business scaling. This role requires a leader who is as comfortable presenting dilution models to the CFO as they are "rolling up their sleeves" to build internal data benchmarks from scratch.
Your daily tasks will include:
Strategic Total Rewards Development: Lead the end-to-end design and evolution of a global Total Rewards strategy. You will independently evaluate existing policies and architect new, scalable frameworks that align with the company’s long-term growth and culture.
Full-Cycle ESOP Management: Take primary ownership of the Employee Share Option Program (ESOP). Act as the lead bridge between HR, Finance and Senior stakeholders to manage program structures, monitor share dilution, and strategize on the expansion of option pools to support talent retention.
Evidence-Based Internal Benchmarking: Design and defend salary benchmarks built on deep internal data analysis (by level and geography) ensuring high levels of buy-in from business leads.
Executive Advisory & Education: Proactively consult with senior leadership and department heads. You will design and lead training initiatives to ensure all people managers are fluent in our compensation philosophy and pay transparency standards.
Global Project Ownership: Oversee the entire compensation review lifecycle—from the initial structural modeling in Excel to the final communication of results—ensuring 100% data integrity and strategic alignment.
Team Mentorship: Develop the C&B community, transitioning the function from a support unit to advisory. You will be responsible for setting functional KPIs, reviewing the progress and managing resource distribution.
Your qualifications:
Global Strategic Ownership: Demonstrated track record of independently designing and implementing C&B strategies on a global scale, moving beyond "reporting to a group" to being the final decision-maker.
Advanced Equity (ESOP) Expertise: Deep practical experience with share-based compensation, including a solid grasp of the financial impact, dilution mechanics, and the ability to partner with Finance/Legal on plan design.
Expert Data Modeling: A "hands-on" expert with advanced analytical skills; the ability to personally manipulate large datasets, build internal benchmarks, and translate raw data into executive-level insights.
Change Management & Influence: Proven ability to coach and educate senior management on complex reward topics, including the EU Pay Transparency Directive and internal equity logic.
Financial Literacy: Strong business acumen with the ability to discuss the P&L impact of compensation decisions and equity pools with executive stakeholders.
Proven Team Leadership: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience directly managing and developing a team of HR or C&B professionals.
Educational Background: Degree in Finance, Economics, HR, or a related field, professional certifications are highly regarded.
Dynamic environment: Experience in a fast-paced international environment, where you are expected to shape your own role and deliver results.
