Digital Marketing Strategist (Hybrid | Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, OH)

The Digital Marketing Strategist will be responsible for developing marketing strategy and execution to drive eCommerce sales for a variety of clients in various industries, including fan merchandise. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands in the entertainment, sports and gaming industries while driving the fan experience.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Develop strategies and implement campaigns on paid channels such as Google Ads, Amazon Seller Central, Facebook ads manager, TikTok, Reddit affiliate marketing, and other paid channels as needed.
- Optimize paid marketing campaigns for performance across channels. Optimizations include keyword selection, bid strategies, social media audiences and creative, affiliate relationships and more.
- Develop and maintain profitable paid marketing programs driving an optimal return on advertising spend.
- Develop an understanding of and leverage Snow Commerce’s proprietary budget management platform to ensure all campaigns meet their budget and performance targets.
- Develop incremental budget recommendations using historical data or trend analysis complete with expected results.
- Monitor organic search ranking across assigned clients and make SEO recommendations as needed. Ensure new sites are optimized at site launch.
- Determine the most effective marketing mix to drive the most revenue for each client.
- Monitor analytics and produce monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports as needed that draw actionable insights from data. The Digital Marketing Strategist will be responsible for presenting these reports to clients while also fielding questions about the results.
- Leverage data from multiple data sources, including ad platforms, Google Analytics, Shopify, etc. to understand the customer journey and make strategic recommendations for constant improvement.
- Constantly improve understanding of digital marketing (search, social, email, Amazon, etc.) through continuous research and training on a weekly basis; maintain an ongoing understanding of industry changes (such as iOS15, new Google campaign types, etc.), standards and best practices and implement these changes in your day-to-day work and to effectively communicate these changes to clients and the internal team.
- Work closely with teammates and clients, establishing strong communication practices. The ideal candidate takes initiative and does not wait to be told what to do.
Your qualifications:
- BA/BSc in Marketing or related field.
- Self-starter with the ability to self-teach if necessary.
- Proficiency with analytic tools such as Google Analytics.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to maintain excellent colleague and client relationships.
- Ecommerce experience is a plus.
- Agency experience is a plus.

Intro Chat
If our Talent Acquisition Team believes that you could be a great fit for the role, we’ll invite you to a 30-45-minute introductory call. Our goal is to learn about your relevant experiences, skills, and motivations. This is also your chance to ask any questions you may have about FYUL.
Practical Task
Some roles require our candidates to complete a practical assignment. It helps us assess your problem-solving skills and your ability to complete the duties required for the role.
These can come in the form of a take-home assignment or a live session where a dedicated team member will guide you through the process and answer any of your questions.
Hiring Manager Interview
The next step is a 30-60-minute call to meet the hiring manager. The goal of this call is to assess if you have the skills necessary for the role. Expect more detailed questions about your experience and some situational or behavioral questions.
Decision and Offer
Once all of your interviews are done, our team will get together to review everyone’s feedback and make a decision.
