ESG Project Manager (fixed term)

About the role:
The ESG Project Manager will play a key role in driving our organization's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives as part of the ESG team and report directly to the ESG Lead.
This role will develop, implement, and manage various sustainability programs in line with the overall ESG strategy, focusing on environmental performance, Operational Efficiency, Product Innovation, and Resource-Efficient Technological Advancements.
The ESG Project Manager will use data and calculations to integrate ESG considerations into all relevant aspects of the organization's operations and initiatives and support the implementation of improvement initiatives while also supporting the team in Social and Governance activities.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Monitoring environmental performance metrics, tracking progress toward sustainability goals, and furnishing stakeholders with regular reports. This includes managing the Software Platform that the ESG team is currently using for GHG emissions calculations.
- Creating and implementing environmental sustainability roadmaps, goals, and initiatives in line with the organization's ESG objectives and strategy.
- Conducting environmental assessments and audits to pinpoint areas for improvement and implement solutions to lower environmental impact.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to incorporate environmental considerations and best practices into product design, manufacturing processes, and supply chain management.
- Leading initiatives to lower energy consumption, minimize waste generation, and optimize our operations for resource efficiency.
- Participating in processes for DMA, LCAs, Resource Mapping, reporting, and other relevant tasks such as responding to client ESG requests.
- Supporting ESG communication and reporting efforts to strengthen the organization's standing as a responsible ESG partner.
- Engaging with stakeholders, including the ESG Ambassador Board, industry groups, and environmental organizations, to exchange best practices and further shared ESG goals.
Your qualifications:
- Proven previous experience in managing projects.
- Data-driven mindset: Demonstrated ability to approach tasks and decision-making with a data-driven perspective
- Previous experience in ESG-related projects or initiatives is a plus.

Intro Chat
If our Talent Acquisition Team believes that you could be a great fit for the role, we’ll invite you to a 30-45-minute introductory call. Our goal is to learn about your relevant experiences, skills, and motivations. This is also your chance to ask any questions you may have about FYUL.
Practical Task
Some roles require our candidates to complete a practical assignment. It helps us assess your problem-solving skills and your ability to complete the duties required for the role.
These can come in the form of a take-home assignment or a live session where a dedicated team member will guide you through the process and answer any of your questions.
Hiring Manager Interview
The next step is a 30-60-minute call to meet the hiring manager. The goal of this call is to assess if you have the skills necessary for the role. Expect more detailed questions about your experience and some situational or behavioral questions.
