Head of Product Marketing
We’re not one brand or one type of team. We’re a fast-growing global company made up of many disciplines – all working toward a shared goal: to power great brands, experiences, and people.
About the team:
The Product Marketing team works closely with Product, Supply, Sales, and Acquisition. The team is responsible for go-to-market strategy and execution across FYUL's product portfolio, including monetisation, AI-driven features, and merchant growth across acquisition, activation, and retention. Today the function is 10 people across several program areas, each led by a Team Lead, and you would inherit that team.
About the role:
As Head of Product Marketing, you are the senior leader accountable for FYUL's product marketing strategy and the commercial outcomes of the function. The role is hands-on at the strategic level: setting direction, working closely with Product and Commercial leaders, and making sure the team's work translates into clear business impact.
You are expected to come in with a clear point of view, build trust quickly with senior stakeholders, and run the function with a high level of independence. You will own the priorities, the team's development, and the way Product Marketing's impact is measured and communicated.
Your daily tasks will include:
Own the Product Marketing strategy. Define priorities, roadmap, and success metrics for the function, and connect them to FYUL's business goals (GMV, monetisation, activation, retention, AI adoption).
Act as a strategic peer to Product and Commercial leadership. As the team closest to the market, bring the insight that influences what gets built, helping prioritise the roadmap and commercial bets, and ensure product direction and GTM move as one.
Lead and develop the team. Coach the Team Leads from execution toward independent strategic ownership, set a clear standard for what strong work looks like, and hold a culture of high trust and real accountability for outcomes, not just output.
Run the function with clarity. Set clear OKRs, reporting standards, and ways of working. Make the impact of Product Marketing visible and easy to understand at SLT (Senior Leadership Team) level.
Shape major programs. Lead strategy on the largest cross-functional initiatives, including monetisation, AI-driven products, subscription growth, and new market opportunities.
Build merchant and market understanding. Combine quantitative data and qualitative research into clear, useful strategic recommendations.
Improve how we operate. Identify gaps in product offering, GTM processes, and cross-functional ways of working, and drive the changes needed to close them.
What success looks like in the first 6 to 12 months:
A clear, written PMM strategy with prioritised bets, owners, and success metrics
Strong, trusted partnerships with Product and Commercial leadership
The Team Leads operating with more autonomy and a sharper strategic focus
A measurable improvement in how PMM impact is reported and understood at SLT level
At least one major program with a clear, PMM-led strategy and visible commercial impact
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, or Marketing Strategy, with a clear track record of driving commercial outcomes
Proven experience leading managers or Team Leads in a senior PMM or Growth role
Experience operating as a strategic peer to senior Product leaders, including shaping or influencing the product roadmap
Strong analytical foundation and the ability to lead with data, including setting KPIs and measurement frameworks for the function
Experience leading cross-functional GTM programs with significant business impact
Preferred Qualifications:
E-commerce, marketplace, or two-sided platform experience (strongly preferred)
Experience with subscription, monetisation, or AI product strategy
Experience leading teams through organisational change or rapid growth
Strong track record in user research and translating insights into roadmap and GTM decisions
Experience operating in remote, async, distributed environments
Who will succeed in this role:
You think like an owner, not a service provider
You are comfortable forming a clear point of view and defending it with senior stakeholders
You move fast, but you also build the structure and measurement that makes the work durable
You are energized by ambiguity and complex, cross-functional environments
You raise the bar for your team and for your peers
What we offer:
A global, inclusive team that’s as supportive as it is ambitious and serious about getting things done
An opportunity to work remotely or in a modern and welcoming office in Riga
Flexible working hours (start your day as early as 8 am or as late as 11 AM)
Private health insurance
2 extra paid days off to focus on your mental or physical well-being
1 extra paid day off to celebrate a Birthday or any other celebration of your choice
Access to mentorship, internal meetups, and hackathons, both on-site and online
