About the role:

That’s why we’re looking for a detail-oriented Technician Team Lead to join us. In this position, you’ll ensure the maintenance, servicing, and technical support of production equipment by leading the technician team and guaranteeing an efficient, safe, and uninterrupted production process.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Lead team of technicians (ensure achievement of defined KPI goals, conduct performance reviews, plan workflow, resource utilization, organize work processes accordingly, ensure continuous skill development and competence improvement within the technician team;
• Ensure all production equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, create and maintain accurate service schedules and logs, and ensure all maintenance activities are correctly performed and documented
• Respond quickly to technical issues and perform repairs, including urgent cases outside regular hours when needed. 
• Manage spare parts by ordering, tracking inventory, and defining minimum stock levels to prevent recurring problems
• Coordinate installation and troubleshooting of IT equipment and connectivity
• Maintain up-to-date user and maintenance manuals for production equipment in a centralized system, and oversee data backup and security for production-related systems.
• Support the introduction of new production equipment by assisting with evaluation, installation, and process implementation. 
• Help train operators and employees on new processes or updated equipment settings to ensure smooth adoption and efficient operation.

In this role, we'll expect :

• Ability to work full time from 7.00 - 15.30 (Monday-Friday)
• Strong skills in personnel management: scheduling, performance evaluations, and team engagement
• Hands-on experience performing repairs and managing spare parts inventory (ordering, stock levels, tracking)
• To be proactive, strong sense of responsibility, problem-solving mindset, and ability to make decisions

• At least 5 years of experience in a position such as senior technician, engineer, or a similar technical role.
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in team leadership
• Language skills:
  English – B2 level (mandatory) - be able to delegate tasks in English on a daily basis, as well as prepare technical and process documentation in English
  Latvian – an advantage, but not mandatory.
